Parent-Child Dedication
Parent Dedication (also known as a baby dedication) is a very special day where families come before the church and commit to raising their child according to God's Word. One of our goals as a church is to support our members as they train up their children in the Lord. One of the ways we do this is through Parent Dedications.
Dedication REQUIREMENTS
To participate in the Parent Dedication ceremony, you must:
Be an active member of Mission Bible Church,
Have completed, or are in progress of completing, the “Training Hearts for Jesus” parenting class.
Membership
The first step to any God-centric home is to be established in a local church. Mission Bible Church offers its 4-week membership class 4 times each year as a way for Christians to engage in discipleship, partnership, and accountability within God’s design for His church. Training Hearts for Jesus Parenting Class
As part of dedicating your children to be raised in a God-centric home, Mission Bible Church, in partnership with Training Hearts for Jesus, hosts a 14-week parenting class titled “Training Hearts for Jesus.” This class is a prerequisite to participating in the parent-child dedication ceremony. This class is offered 2-3 times each year.
Notes:
This class is only required to attend once per family. Families need not repeat this class for future children.
Haven’t taken the class yet? Not to worry! Parent Dedications are hosted following each of the parenting classes. Sign up for the next “Training Hearts for Jesus” parenting class to be eligible for the next Parent Dedication.
If you are an active member of Mission Bible Church and you’ve taken this class previously or are enrolled in the current class which started in January, you are eligible to register for this ceremony. Click below to register for this upcoming parent-child dedication ceremony.
